Our program prioritizes the development of a strong riding foundation rooted in classic equitation principles and the philosophy that the horse always comes first.

About Us
Owner/Trainer Amelia Nowicki
Amelia grew up riding in the Atlanta area with the legendary Sunny Stevens, recipient of Old Salem Lifetime Achievement Award. After graduating with a BS in Equine Science from University of Georgia, she went on to be a working student for international show jumping rider Callan Solem. Amelia relocated to the Tryon area in 2015 to open Hidden Valley Farm and has been a very successful competitor and trainer. Amelia is also the coach of Converse University Equestrian Team.

Exceptional Training & Care
Personalized for every horse and rider
Since no horse and rider are the same, Amelia focuses on creating personalized training and care programs with each client’s different goals in mind. Lessons range from x-rails through the big equitation and jumpers. Bemer, Chiropractic, and Acupuncture services are regularly scheduled for our horses, and we have an exceptional veterinary and farrier staff. Our expert staff lives on site, and 10PM night check is provided every night to ensure all of our horses are safe and healthy.

State of the Art Facilities
Fully Renovated in 2016
The boutique barn has 12 spacious stalls and 10 grass paddocks that sit on a beautiful 20-acre property. The facility includes a 150 x 250 outdoor riding arena with a full set of custom, all weather hunter/jumper jumps, multiple grass fields to ride in and a trail with pond access. Additional client and horse amenities include a newly built, temperature controlled Rider’s Lounge and office, a secure tack room, hot/cold wash racks, a sanitary feed room, a separate building for hay storage and a large half bath.
