Converse University Varsity Equestrian Team
Hidden Valley Farm is proud to be the home of the Converse University Equestrian Team. The Division II varsity team competes Hunt Seat Equitation in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) in Zone 5, Region 3. Unlike many other schools, the IHSA team at Converse is a varsity sport that offers athletic scholarships to riders of all levels.

At Converse University, equestrians are considered Athletes, and we participate in workouts with the Converse athletic trainers at our on-campus gym. Additionally, study halls and tutoring sessions are available to all athletes. All athletes will also receive Converse University gear from Adidas.
Being a Varsity Sport also allows us to give out Athletic Scholarships to our team members! Scholarships are available to riders of all levels as everyone is an important asset to our team.
Converse also covers ALL athletic expenses including: 2 lessons a week and all IHSA show and travel fees (entries, transportation, hotel, etc.)

Converse University is located just outside downtown Spartanburg in South Carolina. The equestrian facility is located just under 30 minutes from campus at Hidden Valley Farm in Inman, South Carolina. The facility is conveniently located under 20 minutes away from Tryon International Equestrian Center. Additional showing opportunities are available to all team members during the summer and school season.
